fun with google
As a joke today, Amy and I bought a friend from work’s name on google. Using adwords and a little bit of creativity, everytime you googled “craig schinn” - you got a personel ad. If you can’t see above, the ad read:
Looking for a real man?The ad, clearly full of inside jokes, pokes fun at the fact that he consistently wears turtle neck sweaters and walks to work because he’s too much of a man for the subway.

I mentioned the ad to a few friends at work, and before I knew it - it had spread like fire. Shortly into the afternon, Craig came up to me and said “Jim I know you are behind this!” I played dumb for a while and convinced him it was someone else… before long he clued in and did a whois on the visible domain. For those who are curious, the ad clicked through to this picture (clearly needing a tutle neck).
note: the ad has been removed… I couldn’t afford all the clicks!
