its my bowling league night

everyday

Every monday night is my bowling league night, I rock the 6 train into the bronx to “new” fiesta bowl… I put quotes around it because although it is party of the bowling alley’s name there is nothing, absolutely nothing new about it. We keep score by hand, seriously this place isn’t new. The people are great, and we have been winning of late. It is a nice get away from the suits of the advertising world, to go rock some jeans, a t-shirt, and have a silver bullet. It is a complete culture reverse going from midtown manhattan (basically time square) to this hole in the wall bowling alley in the bronx. But hey, that is what makes this NY.

Work is going well, we are playing host to our client tomorrow… it will be the first time that they have visited (we normally drive down to their offices), so we are doing an “agency day” and giving them the low down on what happens at a advertising agency. I have to give a little part of the speech, and normally it wouldn’t be that bad or nerve racking—but these guys hold my job in the palm of their hands. Since this is basically an informal thing, I am sure it will be fine.

Thanks to everyone who voted in the amazon weird gift decision 2004. I will be making my purchase soon.
