back from vegas, back to work

After nights at the blackjack table, drinks at the pool, a helicopter ride to the grand canyon, and a Cirque Du Soleil show - I am back from vegas (well a few days ago). The trip was a ton of fun with the Grand Canyon / helicopter ride being the highlight (we went for my dads bday). Being in the copter above the canyon really was an unbelievable feeling… in such a small little thing above the biggest most massive hole you have ever seen.

One thing about the trip that I did not anticipate was Amy’s desire to gamble. Before we left for Vegas she said “I hope we don’t spend all day in the smokey casino ...” and what happened, you ask? I had to pry her away from the blackjack table with a crowbar. We even tried to extend our stay by an extra day because we were having so much fun socializing at the tables, but couldn’t find any flights that worked for us the following day.

I will make sure some of the Grand Canyon pics make it online, although they came out hazy due to the curve of the heliocopter glass. I am sure at least a couple are worth looking at though.
